I couldn’t be more impressed with the entire experience of converting my home from oil to propane and installing a brand-new boiler and water heater. From start to finish, the team was professional, efficient, and a pleasure to work with. They handled the removal of the old oil tank with incredible care and neatness, leaving the space spotless.

What truly stood out was their excellent communication and coordination with subcontractors—everything was seamless and well-organized. They kept me informed at every step of the process. Dan Ackley was assigned for our annual service on our furnace.
He came to the door and was all set to walk thru our home with his dirty wet work boots and no shoe covers. Of course I stopped him and asked if he had shoe covers, saying nothing he put down his bucket and went to his truck and got them. This set the tone with his poor attitude.
I proceeded to walk him thru our home to the basement stairs when his cell phone rang, we continued downstairs into basement and I showed him the furnace. He remained on a personal call (I know bc he had on speaker) and proceeded to set up to work on furnace. Then he walked to other end of basement (I asked if he needed anything and he basically grunted saying he was looking at oil tank like I was disturbing him. All the while continuing on his personal call
I then left and went upstairs, came down a short while later to find him still on the phone.
This made me very uncomfortable, not only is it completely unprofessional and disrespectful but it’s dangerous. I don’t want issues with my furnace hence why we have it maintained and I was left w no confidence that this happening.
I finally requested he not be on a personal call while servicing the furnace and not saying anything He hung up
He was non communicative, had a bad attitude and did a half assed service he did not vacuum the unit and it most assuredly needed it!!
This a poor reflection of Sippin and I’m feeling very uneasy about this experience.
We’ve been loyal sippin customer’s for many years and I expect better. Dan also walked back outside with the shoe covers on in the rain and didn’t take them off or change them proceeding to walk back in & thru our home. I hope this review gets to the right people to address it and prevent it from happening again. I’m also going to request another tech come out and redo the service.
He was also at the house a great deal less time than the normal technician’s service in the past.
With the majority of it being on a personal call.
We pay close to $500/year for this service contract and I could pay less than half that for a much more thorough job. If I had an emergency and he came out I would not be confident things would be handled appropriately.

Before our technician arrives, be sure to clear the area of service of all debris at least 4' away from the unit we are servicing.

General cleanliness:
Our technicians need to work in an environment free of junk, trash, or animal debris, etc. If un-prepared or unsanitary our team will not be able to perform service at your location, until the service area is adequately prepared and cleaned.

Prompt and efficient service as usual! We've been with Sippin for 13 years and never had a bad experience. Any installations that have been done at my home have been done with care resulting in a neat job with no loose ends left. When the crew leaves, there is no dirt or debris left behind.

Ive had a bad situation turn into an extreme relief. I chose Sippin to handle my problem with my leaking water heater. Not only were they quick to schedule the service, but the two works who did the job were extremely professional, knowledgeable and quick to finish the job. But they also went the extra mile and explained things to me as they went through the process. Plus the home office was eady to work with. I have one other thing I'd like to address with my old furnace that I will be doing with them as well. I highly recommend this company.

Erin is so profession yet very warm & friendly. She is thorough & completes the entire questions I have in a timely fashion.....we always feel like we are ready for winter when Erin is finished.
